Integration with Google Contacts

Our application integrates with the Google People API to allow users (such as an HR Manager or Department Head) to add employee contact details from our system directly into their own Google Contacts account. This feature is designed to streamline contact management.

- Permissions Requested: To use this feature, we will ask for your permission to access your Google Contacts via the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/contacts scope. This permission is required to create new contacts in your account.

- How We Use This Data: Our app's use of this permission is limited to creating new contacts on your behalf when you initiate the action from within the app. We do not read, edit, delete, or store your existing Google Contacts. The data (e.g., employee name, phone number) is transferred to your Google Contacts only when you explicitly choose to sync a contact.

- Data Handling: Information received from Google APIs is not stored on our servers. The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs by mightyIT Apps will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

The information that we collect will be used to contact or identify you only when necessary. We do not share this information with external parties except as described in this policy.
